1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SafeNet (the "Bot"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Bot.

2. Description of Service

SafeNet is a Discord bot designed to provide advanced security and moderation features for Discord servers. The Bot offers features including but not limited to:

  • Automated detection of abusive users
  • User verification systems
  • Report-based global punishment system
  • Protection from repeated ban evasion
  • Logging of security-related events

SafeNet is provided “as is” without guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or availability.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of SafeNet, you agree to:

  • Use the Bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Not attempt to exploit, hack, or abuse the Bot's features
  • Not use the Bot for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not attempt to bypass detection or verification
  • Not provide false information in reports
  • Not abuse the reporting system

4. Limitations of Service

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

  • The Bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability
  • Features may be modified, added, or removed at our discretion
  • We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Bot

5. Data Collection & Processing

SafeNet collects and processes certain data to provide its services. By accepting these terms you acknowledge that:

  • Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection laws
  • Security-critical data may be retained for fraud prevention and community safety (as detailed in our DPA)
  • Data may be used across multiple participating servers for security purposes
  • You have rights regarding your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use SafeNet to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the Bot
  • Circumvent any security features or access controls

7. Global Enforcement System

SafeNet operates a global enforcement system to protect communities. This system may:

  • Block or restrict users based on security assessments
  • Ban users globally based on verified security threats
  • Share security-related decisions with participating servers
  • Retain minimal security data for fraud prevention (in compliance with GDPR Article 17(3))

Moderation decisions are made based on legitimate security interests. You may contact us to dispute decisions or exercise your data rights as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to SafeNet (excluding user content) are and will remain the exclusive property of RJO Innovation & Consultancy and its developers. The Bot is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SafeNet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Bot's reliability, accuracy, or availability. We do not warrant that the Bot will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeNet and its developers shall not be liable for:

  • Incorrect detection
  • Suspended global services
  • Conflict between users
  • Loss of server members
  • Harm caused by moderation actions

No refund or compensation is provided for discontinued service.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of SafeNet after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination

RJO Innovation & Consultancy may:

  • Terminate or suspend your access to SafeNet at any time
  • Remove or disable the bot from any server
  • Suspend global services for maintenance or security reasons
  • Block abusive servers or users to protect the community

Upon termination, personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, including applicable data retention for security purposes.

No refund or compensation is provided for discontinued service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, unless otherwise required by EU regulation.
